Well, I’ve returned… but part of me is still floating in a hot tub somewhere in rural Ayrshire!
I’ve just had the most fabulous staycation at the gorgeous Tennox Parlour at Tennox Farm in Kilbirnie, and honestly, I’m still not over it. This place is pure luxury meets countryside charm, and I couldn’t wait to spill the tea (or Prosecco…) on how dreamy it was!

Tucked away in a private gated estate and wrapped in those lush, rolling hills Ayrshire does so well, Tennox Parlour feels like a hidden gem – but it’s actually just a short drive from the coast! You get all the tranquillity of the countryside, without feeling like you’re off the grid.

The house itself? Oh wow. It sleeps eight people across four beautifully decorated bedrooms – each one straight out of a Pinterest dream board. And yes, it comes with its own private hot tub and sauna. I spent far too much time soaking under the stars and pretending I was in a luxury spa retreat. No shame.

Whether you’re gathering the family, toasting a special occasion, or just fancy a few days away with your favourite humans, Tennox Parlour ticks every single box. It’s no wonder it’s scooped up the Customers’ Choice Award six years in a row – from 2020 to 2025! Once you’re there, it’s easy to see why.

I left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning my next visit (because once is definitely not enough).
