Hello, I’m David Anton and I’m a Senior Cruise Consultant at Thorne Travel.

I’ve worked in the travel industry since 2006, having previously completed 30 years in the Police Service.

I’ve always been a keen traveller and enjoy exploring the world with my family. When I was offered a job with my local travel agent in Peebles, I jumped at the opportunity.

I’m now enjoying my role at Thorne Travel, helping to ensure that our customers have truly memorable holidays.

There are quite a few places I have visited which I love; India, Egypt, France, Turkey and Greece are amongst my favourites.

Travel Tips

I like to put my travel baggage into a checking suitcase and carry as little as possible on me. It makes travelling so much easier.
