Just 24 hours before our first flight, an email arrives:
Your flight has been cancelled.
A bit of a blow, to say the least. With a connecting flight from London, I knew we needed to look quickly for alternatives. But, as it turns out, the change in plans worked out for the best. I managed to travel a little earlier than expected, and even treated myself to an overnight stay at the Sofitel. A nice dinner, a glass of wine, and a little time to unwind before the holiday madness – not the worst way to start a trip!
That said, I know many of our clients are travelling much further afield this Christmas, and I can’t help but think of the challenges they might face: delays, cancellations, missed connections... These things can quickly cause stress, anxiety, and the worry of missing the important moments of the season, whether that’s Christmas Day with loved ones or simply getting to the next stage of the journey. That’s why we offer 24-hour support for all of our customers, wherever they are and whatever the reason for their travel.
We’re not just here to book flights, holidays, or cruises – we’re here to understand what truly matters: getting home, being with family, finding some peace during the holiday season. We won’t rest until our my clients are safely at their destination, no matter the hurdles they face.
If you’re travelling over the festive season and don’t have that kind of support, just imagine how much more relaxed the journey could be if you did. And if you’re planning your travels for 2025, get in touch in the new year – we’d love to show you how to make your travel plans in a way that’s more personal and supportive.
Even if you didn’t book with us this year and run into trouble, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll always do my best to offer advice and assistance.
Merry Christmas and safe travels! ✈️🎄
