Hi, I’m Rhona Barr and I’m the Experience Expert here at Thorne Travel.
Having worked in the retail sector for 23 years, I took the leap into the travel industry in 2022. It was definitely the best decision that I’ve ever made!
I’ve always had a passion for travel and I love creating fabulous experiences and helping our customers to make memories.
I also love festivals and concerts. Music is everything and something to be shared with all of the family.
You’ll regularly find me accompanying our amazing customers to see those big Broadway musicals.

It definitely has to be New York and Florida. I love them both!
Travel Tips
Entertainment for the flight: Bring things to keep the kids entertained, such as a tablet stocked up with episodes of favourite shows, books or some colouring pens and paper.
Online Check-in: This is something that we do for our customers. It saves time at the airport which means that you start your holiday completely stress free.
Make memories: Going on adventures or holidays together is the best way for families and friends to make memories. Just relax and enjoy each other's company and remember that you can never take too many photos!
