Hello, I’m Lauren Wright and I am the Compliance and Audit Manager at Thorne Travel.
I have been working in the travel industry for over 6 years now and I am so proud to work with such an amazing team of people at Thorne Travel.
Since joining the team, I have definitely caught the travel bug and I’ve had the opportunity to visit so many amazing destinations.
I am a very focused person and my attention to detail can be scary at times. That is probably why my Compliance and Audit role is perfect for me.
It is really important to me to ensure that customer requirements are fulfilled and I take great pride in playing my part in making lasting memories.
Favourite Places
My top 2 favorite destination are without a doubt:
Thailand and Iceland
My top two favourite destinations are Thailand and Iceland. Like chalk and cheese, but with one similarity - once you go you will always crave to go back again!
Thailand tops everywhere that I have been, it is just breathtaking. The atmosphere, culture, food and people are second to none.
Iceland is known as ‘The Land of Fire and Ice’ and its sheer natural beauty is just captivating!
Travel Tips
Book trips and excursions in advance as this will save you a lot of time, money and stress.
Being a parent, one thing that I ‘ve learned is that you should always leave a little extra time when travelling. Remember those ‘wee legs’ can’t rush as fast as yours to make that plane!
