I am the Senior Cruise Consultant at Thorne Travel, I joined the Team back in June 2016 with no travel experience, as I was a Hotel/Bar manager for 5 years before joining Thorne Travel.
My Passion has always been travelling, and cruising in 2018 i was nominated for 3 cruise star awards!

I then went on to win the Overall Travel Agent Star Of The Year Award and this came with a free AmaWaterways Cruise for the winner.
In 2019 I received the Silversea Advocate awards for my passion, knowledge and sales of the brand and in 2020 I was nominated as OTT Cruise Guru.
I started Thorne Travel with no travel experience I and before I knew it I had found my passion as I could make people happy by arranging them be best holiday options so that they can create the most magical memories.
Favourite Places
This is always a really hard one to pin point as every destination I have loved and every new destination always has something better than the last.
If I had to pick it would be Japan, as it was simply beautiful – the culture, the temples, the people – it was all a great experience. I went to Japan on a cruise and sailed out of Hong Kong. We managed to visit 9 areas of Japan and each area was completely different it really was a great place to visit.
My second place would have to be Norwegian Fjords again, I visited the Fjords on a cruise and it has the be the most beautiful scenery that I have ever seen.
Travel Tips
Always book in advance for the best price!
If you are like me and don’t travel light always book extra luggage at the time of making the booking as this can be more expensive at a later time.
Cruise Tip – always take an outfit for the end of the cruise that is not as snug as the clothes at the start as after 7 days sampling al the wonderful the food on board the wardrobe seems to shrinks clothes the longer they are in the wardrobe!
Always opt for the Private transfer as you arrive at the destination in half the time and you won’t need to wait for anyone.
Try to take in as much culture as you can of the destination you are visiting.
Live every moment of your vacation like its the final hours.
